Factoring Humanity
Finalist for the HOMer Award!

The CompuServe Science Fiction and Fantasy Forums have announced their ballot for the Ninth Annual HOMer Awards, voted on by the members of the Science Fiction and Fantasy Literature Forums, the Science Fiction Authors Forum, and the Science Fiction Media Forums, on CompuServe, the world's oldest commercial online computer network.

Eligibility rules are identical to those for the Hugo Awards. The name "HOMer Awards" honors both the ancient Bard, and the old, original CompuServe address for its SF forum, HOM-9 (Home and Hobby Forum number 9); Factoring Humanity is also currently a finalist for the Hugo Award.

Ballots are due back May 1, 1999; the winners will be announced as soon as possible thereafter.
