Free Manuscripts Critiques!

Nebula Award-winning Science Fiction Writer
ROBERT J. SAWYER
is Writer in Residence at the
RICHMOND HILL PUBLIC LIBRARY
until June 30, 2000

During this time, Rob will critique manuscripts for free. The only catch: the critiquing session must take place at the Richmond Hill Public Library, which is at the south-west corner of Yonge Street and Major Mackenzie Drive (about 10 km north of Steeles Avenue; accessible from Finch Subway Station via York Region buses). Evening and weekend critiquing sessions are available.

Here's how it works: you either drop off or mail in your manuscript, along with your name, address, and phone number. Rob's assistant will then call you to set up an appointment for you to come into the library for your private, hour-long critiquing session.

You may submit any type of work (short story, novel excerpt, poetry, script, memoir, nonfiction, or whatever you wish) in any genre (science fiction, mystery, mainstream, humour, or anything else), up to a maximum of 20 double-spaced typed pages in standard manuscript format.

The library reserves the right to limit the number of manuscripts accepted.

Rob will mark up your manuscript, so please only send a copy to:
