I hurt my coccyx ...

... which is a lot more fun to say than it is to do. :(

Sorry to hear that! I hurt mine twice years ago, and it hurt horribly.

Posting late, just saw this and ouch. It takes a long time to heal. I hurt mine a few years back and after 4 months of not being able to sit, I finally went to a chiropractor--which I said I would never do--but he actually did help me and within two weeks I could sit again. If you're still having problems I suggest trying this!

That sucks Rob!!! Hope your bum feels better soon! *laughs*

I've broke my coccyx before (about two years ago) and I still have some problems with it.

I know you must be in a bit of pain and don't know what to do... give me a shout. I am the coccyx queen *giggle*

I have no idea how I did this -- I didn't have a fall or anything -- but it hurts like hell, especially when first sitting down (until I can shift my weight off it). My wife goes to a chiropractor to deal with an old fencing injury (she was captain of the Ryerson women's fencing team many years ago), and I went a couple of times after a car accident six years ago, so ... yeah, if it doesn't clear up soon, I'll go see him.

But tomorrow, damn it all, I have to fly (on one of those damned little planes) to Nashville, then drive two hours to Chattanooga -- and I'm sure all of that is going to hurt.
