The Canadian Encyclopedia on RJS

Stumbled on the fact today that The Canadian Encyclopedia now has an article on Robert J. Sawyer.

That's kinda cool, 'cause years ago, I wrote the entry on science fiction for The Canadian Encyclopedia; it's nice now to be worthy of my own entry. :)

Strange, this blog entry isn't showing up on your main Blog page, but it is in my Tumblr feed, and I'm here so it definitely exists.

Congrats on the entry into the encyclopedia. I'm wondering though, shouldn't the entry reflect the name of your educational institution, Ryerson Polytechnic Institute, as it was at the time you attended it rather than how it is now?

Interesting question. Would you say that someone who was born in 1812 in Ottawa was born in Canada, or British North America? :) I'm not sure what the right answer is -- except, that, actually, when I was there, the name was Ryerson Polytechnical Institute (not Polytechnic).

And, yeah, I know there's something wrong with my blog, but I haven't figured out how to fix it. :)
